Adoption of a kitten in France​

Kittens will join their new home from 12 weeks.

They will be registered LOOF, identified by microchip, vaccinated and dewormed. Kittens sold like pets will be sterilized.

 

They all leave with a contract of sale including sale certificate, a certificate of good health from the vet, a health records, a customized kitten kit and an information paper on the characteristics and needs of the animal and education advices.
 

Adoption of a kitten abroad

Kittens will join their new home from 16 weeks.

They will be identified by microchip, vaccinated and dewormed. Kittens sold like pets will be sterilized.

They all leave with a contract of sale including  the sale certificate, a certificate of good health from the vet, a health records, a customized kitten kit and an information paper on the characteristics and needs of the animal and education advices in English and a passport with the evidence of vaccine against rabies.

Kittens will have a French pedigree and will be registered LOOF (Official Book of Feline Origins).

The buyer has to inform MagiCurl of conditions set by his state to importing a pet in order to be in accordance with national rules. Additional expenses such as antibody titration or other documents to provide will be borne by the buyer.
 

Prices

The price of each kitten is determined individually by the cattery MagiCurl depending on its quality, the curvature of his ears, his sex and his coat.

All prices are quoted in Euros.

- From € 800 for a pet cat sterilized.

- From 1200 € for a breeding and / or show quality cat.

Proposals of catteries are welcome.

Terms of payment

The kittens may be paid  in several times if the full price is paid before their leaving.
The terms of payment are specified in the booking contract.

We accept bank transfers, checks and cash.

Booking and Sales

​The kitten is reserved for receipt of a deposit of € 300 and receipt of the booking contract signed.
In case of cancellation of the sale by the buyer deposit will not be refunded. The deposit is not transferable to another kitten or  unborn litter.

An animal is a living thing and not a commodity so Magicurl will be careful to find a new loving family to the kittens and  the sale may be denied for legitimate reasons such as unavailability of the kitten, or the inability to perform the service, or the abnormal demand and insincerity of the buyer.

Pedigree, identification and vaccination

Our cats and kittens belong to the American Curl breed and are registered in a stud book recognized by the French Ministry of Agriculture. So kittens leave with a pedigree LOOF (Official Book of Feline Origins) or with the number of acknowledgment if it is being validated. The pedigree will be sent by mail as soon as possible upon receipt thereof by the cattery.

Kittens are identified by microchip. You will receive an identification card in your mail. The identification card is initially established in the name of Sarah TOUTAIN and change of ownership to national feline file is performed at the signing of the sales contract.

Kittens are vaccinated Typhus, Feline leukemia virus, Coryza, Chlamydia at 2 months and again at 3 months. For kittens sold abroad, the vaccine against rabies is mandatory.

Pet cat and Sterilization

Pets are animals which man has to take care in his home, for his pleasure and that are not held primarily for economic purposes. Kittens are sold to private person such as pet to protect their health, the quality of the breed and the work of breeders. So pet kittens will be sterilized before their leaving.

Sterilization is done at 12 weeks. It is included in the selling price of the kitten.

Delivery and leaving of kitten​

Cattery MagiCurl does not delivery.
The leaving date of the kitten is fixed between the seller and the buyer on the booking contract.
Kittens for abroad are taken to the airport. Travel costs and delivery are the responsibility of the buyer.
